Oman Avenues Mall launches grand marketing extravaganza as a prelude to the football world cup

Muscat: Oman Avenues Mall announced the launch of ‘Football Unites’ promotional campaign as a prelude to the upcoming world cup to be held in the region for the first time in history. The Mall launched various promotional campaigns starting from the 6th of October ’22 and running until the 31st of December ’22, aimed at curating a world of happiness and excitement for families, shoppers, and mall visitors to immerse themselves in. The campaign is intended not only at celebrating the season but also at showcasing the rich history of the world cup in an informative display at the new welcome court of the mall.

A slew of promotions across categories are included in the promotion to incentivize the visitors apart from the several gaming led events that will be held at the Mall. The promotion under the title of ‘Spend & Win’ entitles customers who make a combined purchase of OMR 15 from the outlets at the Mall to take part in multiple raffle draws that will pick up 24 winners of the Al Saada Mall Gift Cards worth OMR 100 each during the promotion period spanning 12 weeks. Apart from this, Customers with a single purchase of OMR 15 can also participate in the Mega Draw to be held on the 31st of December’2022 to win the sporty Jeep Wrangler Gladiator.

In addition to the ‘Spend and Win’ campaign, there are a plethora of activities at the Oman Avenues Mall lined up this season. Another first for the mall would be the human foosball competition in which visitors can take part and win attractive prizes. Human foosball is the same as regular foosball, but humans take the place of the plastic players instead. The game aims to get the ball into each team's goal while players are being restricted by the handheld rod. For the skilled, there would be several gaming activities at the 2nd level of the Mall, with a chance to win exciting prizes for the participants.

The Mall has also announced that, the cinema operator at the mall - Cinepolis would be broadcasting FIFA World Cup 2022 live at the cinemas with ticketed sales commencing soon. There are competitions in the Mall wherein 5 winners would get two tickets each to view the day’s match live at the cinemas. This is part of the initiative of the Mall to further the digital engagement and competition platforms. The mechanisms to participate in these activities would be announced soon.
