Indian blue collar worker scoops OMR 2 million in a draw

Pradeep K P, an Indian blue collar expat worker, working in Jebel Ali, UAE, may finally stop this as he literally got a ‘Big Ticket’ to a better life when he won a jackpot of Dirhams 20 million (OMR 2 million approx) on Monday night.

Big Ticket was first established at the Abu Dhabi International Airport in 1992 and is the largest and longest-running raffle draw for cash prizes and dream luxury cars.

According to the official website, Pradeep was the lucky winner of the Dirhams 20 million during the 244th series draw of Abu Dhabi Big Ticket.

Pradeep purchased the ticket along with 20 of his colleagues and the prize money will be distributed among them. The second and third prizes were also won by Indian expatriates.

The 24-year-old has been buying tickets for the past year and finally won the big prize with ticket number 064141.
