Schools to close early on Tuesday

Muscat: Schools in Muscat are closing early on Tuesday owing to the visit of the King of Jordan.

According to a circular issued by the Ministry of Education, “Schools in Wilayats of Seeb, Bausher, Muttrah, Muscat and Amerat will close by 11.30 am on Tuesday.”

The Ministry of Education also decided that there will be no evening schools at Seeb and Amerat on Tuesday. 

King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein, King of the Kingdom of Jordan, will pay an official visit to the Sultanate of Oman on Tuesday, lasting two days.
