Parking to be temporarily prohibited on Sultan Qaboos Street :ROP

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has issued a circular banning parking of vehicles on both sides of Sultan Qaboos Street on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The statement issued by ROP said: “Royal Oman Police announced that it will prevent vehicles from parking on both sides of the lane on Sultan Qaboos Street from Burj Al-Sahwa roundabout to the Wilayat of Muscat, on Tuesday and Wednesday (4-5 October 2022).”

This coincides with an announcement of Diwan of the Royal Court that King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein, King of the Kingdom of Jordan, will pay an official visit to the Sultanate of Oman on Tuesday, lasting two days.

ROP calls on motorists to abide by the above and cooperate with policemen to serve the public interest.
