Muscat: In preparation for the winter season, Zale will launch its new seasonal menu with a three-day event, from 4 to 6 October, featuring international guest chefs Joe Barza and Alex Samoilis, together with the hotel’s executive chef, Julien, and his team.
On the first two nights, celebrity chefs Joe and Alex will prepare exquisite selections of the new seasonal menu, featuring highlights such as fresh Omani seafood, authentic sushi platters and prime beef dishes with Grecian influences. A special Chef’s Table evening will be held on 6 October by both chefs, together with the hotel’s culinary team, presenting a truly remarkable experience of premium signature dishes in true Kempinski style.
Greek chef Alex is known for working in Michelin-starred restaurants in Europe and Greece and across the Arab region. He has worked with celebrity chefs such as Gordon Ramsay, Jamie Oliver, three-Michelin-starred Clare Smyth, Jason Atherton and many more. Chef Alex has accumulated over ten years of experience in renowned restaurants around the world, including private yachts, and will bring authentic flavours, along with his personal touch in his dishes, that will be presented at Zale.
Chef Joe is also not new to the game. He has hosted several culinary events at Kempinski Hotel Muscat, each time with much success. Specialising in Levantine cuisine, chef Joe has been featured in major international media outlets, including CNN and The New York Times, and many more. He has also been involved as head judge in several programmes in addition to the popular Middle Eastern version of “Top Chef”.
