Parts of Oman to witness thunderstorms

Muscat: Parts of the Sultanate of Oman may witness thunderstorms of varying intensity accompanied by active downward winds, hail, and chances of the flow of some valleys on Wednesday and for the next two days.

"There is an activity of convective clouds today and for the next two days, and chances of rain of varying intensity, sometimes thunder, accompanied by active downward winds, hail, and chances of the flow of some valleys and reefs on the Al Hajar Mountains and the neighbouring areas that may extend to desert areas," Oman Meteorology said in a statement.
