Al Abri chosen as first Vice-President of General Assembly of ICAO

Muscat: The President of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) was chosen as the First Vice-President of the General Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO).

A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA) said: "His Excellency Eng Nayef bin Ali Al Abri, President of the Civil Aviation Authority, is selected as First Vice-President of the General Assembly of the International Civil Aviation Organisation out of 187 countries during the inauguration of the work of the Assembly. "

‎This choice came in view of the experience and active presence of Eng Nayef Al Abri in international forums in the civil aviation sector. This position is an achievement recorded under the name of the Sultanate of Oman.
