Municipality to charge vehicle entry fee for owners in Central Market

Muscat: Muscat Municipality has announced a fee for entry of cars belonging to owners operating in the central market for vegetables and fruits. The value will be 50 OMR per month for one car, starting from October 1, 2022.

 In a statement, Muscat Municipality said: With the desire of the management of the central market for vegetables and fruits to regulate the process of entering vehicles through Gate No. 1, and reduce their number inside the central market, starting from October 1, 2022, the entry of cars belonging to owners of companies operating in the market will be at a rent of 50 OMR per month, who has applied for a permit to manage the central market, which includes the following documents:

 1- A letter addressed to the Central Market Department requesting an entry permit to the market

 2- A copy of the identity card

 3- A copy of the vehicle ownership

 4- A copy of the lease contract or evidence that it is a company operating in the central market
