British School Muscat shortlisted for International School of the Year Award

Muscat: British School Muscat (BSM) has been shortlisted with just three other schools for the TES International School of the Year Award 2018, recognising the strides it has taken in becoming one of the leading British International schools in the world.
TES Global is a digital education company that has been supporting educators for over 100 years with a mission to help teachers, schools, and universities to develop and deliver the best education.
Within the submission for the Award, the major improvements to the facilities now available on the BSM campus were highlighted, along with the exceptional 2017 exam results, extended pastoral care and extracurricular activities.
"We have been shortlisted with Cranleigh Abu Dhabi, Jumeirah College Dubai, and the Prince of Wales Island International School in Penang, Malaysia," explained Kai Vacher, the BSM Principal.
"Our commitment over the last five years in providing modern classrooms and science labs, a dedicated 6th Form Centre, a new sports pitch, three new swimming pools, and two new indoor sports halls, has really improved the way we can help all of our students fulfil their every potential.
"We believe we have a real chance of winning the Award when it is announced in February 2018, but being on the shortlist is in itself wonderful news for both BSM and education in Oman generally," Kai added.
