Muscat Municipality to implement project that won Bilarab bin Haitham Architectural Design Award

Muscat: Based on the royal orders of His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik, the Muscat Municipality will implement the project that won the Bilarab bin Haitham Architectural Design Award.

"In translation of the royal orders of His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik to assign Muscat Municipality to implement the Muttrah Square project, winner of the first edition of the Bilarab bin Haitham Award for Architectural Design, His Excellency Sayyid Saud bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Governor of Muscat, patronises the signing ceremony of the project handover memorandum," Oman News Agency (ONA) said in a statement.

This signing comes as a confirmation of the award’s vision towards implementing the project on the ground, and exploiting the capabilities of Omani youth by translating their designs to be civilised landmarks that serve all segments of society, and add an aesthetic touch to the selected sites with their modern and youthful designs.
