Oman Convention and Exhibition Center will host more than 50 major events

Muscat : The Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre will host more than 50 major events in the last quarter this year.

Engineer Saeed Al Shanfari, CEO of the Oman Convention and Exhibition Center, said, "The last quarter of 2022 will be a season full of events in which more than fifty functions will be organised , which means that more than 300,000 people will attend."

In an interview with the Oman News Agency, he added: "Among the events are the Oman Tourism Forum on September 27 and 28, which attracts more than 300 representatives from the Omani tourism sector, and the ISEF Middle East Awards for the year 2022 on the 29th of the same month to honour the organisations that provide training programmes. It is world-class, and the centre is set to host more than 1,000 participants during this event."

Other events are the Oman Food Exhibition, which serves the most important sectors in the food industry and the hospitality world, including local products and global imports, and the Oman International Health Conference and Exhibition from 26 to 28 September.

In October, Al Shanfari said the centre will kick off a season of events and festivals focusing on science, technology, innovation and other fields as well as agriculture and fresh produce, and a fashion show.
