UN envoy praises Oman’s efforts for child rights

Muscat: The United Nations has commended the efforts of the Sultanate of Oman in combating and reducing violence against children.

This came during a meeting with Dr. Najat Mualla Majeed, the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations on violence against children, with Ambassador Dr. Mohammed bin Awad Al-Hassan, the Sultanate of Oman's permanent representative to the United Nations in New York.
