Oman agriculture ministry set to sign agreement on OMR1.7 million fish market

Muscat: An agreement on construction of the Seeb Fish Market at the Fishing Port, in the Wilayat of Seeb will be signed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries on Sunday.
The agreement will be signed with Arabian Supplies & Contracting LLC.
The project worth about OMR1.7 million project covers a total area of 7,040 square metres including the ground floor and first floor building.
The new fish market is one of the facilities of the Fishing Port and serves fishermen as well as consumers.
It comprises 12 retail outlets, ice factory, 64 counters for display and 37 counters for fish cutting /slicing besides a coffee shop and a restaurant along other facilities.
