Students of Bangladesh School Muscat excel in International GCSE, IAL exams

Muscat: Bangladesh School Muscat continues its success story in academics when students brought home 70 grade 9, 82 grade 8 and 80 grade 7 in the June 2022, International GCSE Examinations.

Nahian Faiaz who bagged 7 grade 9 and 1grade 8 stood first on the merit board. He was closely followed by Md. Nabil Islam and Salma scoring 7 grade 9 each. Next in the merit roll comes Ayman Altounji, Nimrah, and Akida Khanam who have 5 grade 9 each to their credit.

A total of seventeen grade 9 and twelve grade 8 are bagged in Bangla, while thirteen grade 9 and fourteen grade 8 are scored in chemistry. Biology and physics departments secured ten grade 9 each.

Meanwhile, in the IAL June examination Joy Dhar who clinched 4 A*is adjudged as the top scorer. Md. Sahel Bin Hamed who scored 1 grade A and 2 A grades reserved the second place. Liza, Praga Barua, Ghafran Ahmed and Fakhrul Islam grabbed 2 A grades each.

In the June International AS level examination Md. Sayed bin Safi, Rabbi Alam and Victory Olohize obtained 3 A grades each , while Sherifat Bakare and Shohaib secured 2 A grades each.

Principal Nasrin Sultana had lauded the hard work of the students and thanked the teachers on behalf of The Board of Directors and herself. Members of the Board too were elated with this result.

Engineer Kazi Emdad Hossain, the Chairman of the Board congratulated the students on their impressive performance.
