Police rescue three stranded at sea in Oman

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP), has rescued three people after their boat broke down at sea off the coast of Musandam Governorate.

A statement issued online by ROP said: "The Coast Guard Police in Musandam Governorate is providing assistance to three citizens after their boat broke down at sea while they were out fishing. The  boat was towed to the Khasab Port."

The Royal Oman Police calls on boat owners to carry out periodic maintenance of their boats, take an adequate amount of fuel, and ensure that safety and first aid tools are available before going to sea.
