Muscat: The Public Authority for Social Insurance (PASI), has denied rumours that were circulated on social media platforms about providing financial grants to citizens and residents in the Sultanate of Oman.
"There is no truth to the news circulated in social media about the decision to provide financial grants to every citizen and resident within the Sultanate of Oman," PASI said in a statement.
The fake news text had stated that the Public Authority for Social Insurance had decided to provide financial grants of OMR 600 to each citizen and resident living in the Sultanate of Oman.
