Muscat: The body of an Omani pilgrim who died in a road crash in Saudi Arabia last Saturday is scheduled to be flown back to Oman by Royal Oman Police aircraft today (Monday), the Ministry of Health said in a statement.
“The body of the Omani woman and the injured is scheduled to be flown into Oman on a special plane,” the statement added.
The deceased was with her family to perform Umrah in Saudi Arabia.
Earlier, Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al-Saidi, Minister of Health, had talked to Ahmad Hilal al Busaidi, Oman’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia, to enquire about the health conditions of the injured, the statement added.
