Gibigianna is a luxury womenswear label crafted by Sheetal that carries a global identity for a contemporary woman. Designed in Oman, Gibigianna offers an all-season collection of timeless elegance and sophistication. Bridging the gap between day and evening wear, the clothes are designed for an aura of all-day exquisiteness. In essence, the Gibigianna range of clothes exemplifies fashion that transcends time.
Deeply invested in using only the finest fabrics, Gibigianna sources its materials from the heart of Italy, a country that boasts the best fabric manufacturers in the world. Little wonder then that Gibigianna is an Italian word that means the reflection of light that glimmers on the surface of the water. Sheetal’s brand philosophy is doing everything consciously in terms of design and production without contributing to environmental and social imbalance. She has this to say about the range of luxury womenswear she designs: “I have always loved the combination of pairing a dress with a blazer. It gives an air of classy and sophisticated femininity. So you will always find high-quality suiting separates and feminine dresses in my collections.”
As Sheetal prepares to launch her debut collection titled, "Prelude" this year, here is what she had to say when asked about her favorite pieces, "Although I love them all, if I have to choose, my favorites from the collection are the Brera top and the Brera skirt.” Presently, Gibigianna does not have a standalone outlet, but Sheetal is an optimist. “I understand that the fashion industry rides on tangibility, so I will be organizing a small exhibition soon, quite similar to a pop-up store where women can come and personally view the collection. At the same time, they will be able to interact with me, place their pre-orders, and more. Insha Allah, someday I will open up a boutique," she explains. Talking about her next move, Sheetal says: “Aside from planning an exhibit to showcase the brand, I will be working on a small project where I design exclusive pieces from fabric remnants, whose proceeds will then be contributed toward a good cause.”
