Oman Electricity Transmission Company denies rumour

Muscat: The Oman Electricity Transmission Company (OETC) has denied a rumour about the dismissal of the company's CEO due to the sudden power outage that occurred in some governorates of the Sultanate of Oman on Monday .

"The Oman Electricity Transmission Company denies what is being circulated on social media about the dismissal of Eng Saleh bin Nasser Al Ramahi, CEO of the company, due to the power outage in Oman yesterday. The company notes the need to obtain information from its official sources," the company said in a statement.
