Power cuts affect operations at Muscat International Airport

Muscat: Operations at Muscat International Airport have been affected as a result of the disruptions in the electricity service in the governorate.

“Our concerned team at Muscat International Airport is currently dealing with the power outage affecting the vicinity of the airport.We would like to confirm that all teams at the airport are fully working to ensure that operations are running according to the flight schedules for the day. It is expected that operations will be affected by this out of control malfunction,” Oman Airports said.

Meanwhile, Oman Post also issued a statement on the suspension of operations. "As a result of the sudden power outage in the Governorates of the Sultanate, we regret to inform you that our operations at Oman Post branches and the call centres are down until the outage is solved. Thank you and appreciate your continuous support and understanding."
