Authority issues timeframe for restoration of power supply across Oman

Muscat: Power supply is likely to gradually return to all parts of the affected network during the next four hours, the Authority for Public Services Regulation (APSR) said.

"In continuation of the Authority's follow-up to the sudden power outage, we would like to report that the governorates most affected are Muscat, parts of South Al Batinah, North and South Al Sharqiyah, and Al Dakhiliyah. It is expected that electricity will gradually return to all parts of the network during the next four hours, " APSR said in a statement.
