Kuwait: Kuwaiti parliamentary candidates will be able to apply for the candidacy of the National Assembly from Monday to Wednesday.
Conditions include being a naturalized Kuwaiti national by law, having been enlisted for voting by no less than 30 years of age, proficiency in the Arabic language, and not having been convicted of a felony or a crime.
The elections are also forbidden to anybody who has been convicted by a final ruling for the crime of insulting the divine, holy prophets, and the Amir of the country, KUNA reported.
Voters will opt for 10 lawmakers in each of the country's five voting constituencies to represent them at the National Assembly.
