Agriculture Ministry issues notice to fishing vessel owners in Oman

Muscat: The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources (MAFWR) has urged owners of artisanal fishing vessels to install tracking devices on their vessels and to renew their expired licenses before the end of September 2022.

Agriculture Ministry said in a statement :"The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources calls on all owners of artisanal fishing vessels, the need to the install tracking devices and to renew their expired licenses within a month from the date of this announcement in order to avoid any legal accountability that may be taken in this regard."
