Man arrested for impersonating police officer in Oman

Muscat: A person has been arrested by the Royal Oman Police (ROP) for impersonating a policeman and stealing sums of money from a person in South Al Batinah Governorate.

A statement issued online by ROP said: "South Al Batinah Governorate Police Command has arrested a person after he impersonated a policeman and stole sums of money from a person. The legal procedures are being completed against him."
