Japanese Ambassador impressed by facilities at Aster Royal Hospital during his visit

Muscat: Thursday, Aug 25th Ambassador Extraordinary and plenipotentiary, Japanese Embassy His Excellency Jota Yamamoto had an official visit to upcoming quaternary care Aster Royal Hospital at Ghubra, Muscat.

Aster Royal Hospital, the newest super speciality hospital in Al Ghubra, welcomed His Excellency Jota Yamamoto, the Japanese Ambassador to Oman for an official facility visit as part of its Zuwarat Aster program. During the tour, which was guided by the Hospital’s CEO, Dr. Ashendu Pandey and COO Dr Shinoop Raj along with the HR Director Ms. Nadiya Azghar Al Balushi, His Excellency acknowledged the information about all the departments, cutting-edge technology and unique services that the Hospital will provide to the Oman community. His Excellency visited various departments, including the state-of-the-art Intensive Care Unit, radiology and physiotherapy department, Modular Operation Theatres, Cath-Lab and Aster centre of excellences.

Ambassador Said that “I myself was impressed at a nice package of cutting-edge technologies and human hospitality here, and it will further enhance the sense of safety and secureness both among resident people and inbound visitors. Indeed, this facility will attract the timely attention of many people in many countries. Your hospital, with this new facility, will strengthen the reputation of Oman in taking care of our health and personal life, and protecting the sound environment for business and social activities’

Aster Royal Hospital will have center of excellence for Gastroenterology, Urology, Orthopedics, Obstetrics & Gynecology and Interventional Radiology & Stroke unit in addition to other super specialties equipped with all the advanced equipment and services. The hospital will feature state-ofthe-art operation theaters and a cardiac catheterization lab. It is a purpose-built hospital that adheres to global standards of healthcare and has an expert panel lead by Omani consultants and aptly supported by international panel of doctors. Compared to other hospitals, this hospital is a quantum leap forward in healthcare quality. Aster Royal Hospital will be the largest Private Hospital in the Sultanate of Oman with 200 inpatient beds. Aster Royal Hospital will be open to public from September 1st 2022.
