One arrested for possessing alcoholic beverages

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP), has arrested a foreigner for possessing large amounts of alcoholic beverages.

The ROP said in a statement: "Al Dakhiliyah Governorate Police Command arrested a person of Asian nationality for possession of quantities of alcoholic beverages with the intention of trafficking. The legal procedures are being completed against him."
