Oman institutions urged to prepare intellectual property policies

Muscat: The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MoCIIP) has urged institutions to prepare clear policies for intellectual property rights.

"The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion invites all sectors to prepare intellectual property policies in institutions that conduct research and development before proceeding to own any intellectual property right through such research, and to have a policy to manage these rights," Oman News Agency (ONA) said in a statement.
