Over 185 kg of shrimp seized in Dhofar

Muscat: More than 185 kg of shrimp, which was caught outside the season, have been seized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources in Dhofar Governorate.

"The fisheries control team in the Governorate of Dhofar managed to seize 190 kilograms of shrimps fished out of season in the Wilayat of Salalah. The necessary legal measures were taken against the violators," the Ministry said in a statement.
