Fake news: No change in traffic fines in Oman, says ROP

Muscat: There has been no change in traffic fines, Royal Oman Police (ROP) announced, after rumours on social media stated the fees had been changed.

The ROP has refuted a rumour circulating that the traffic violation form and fines fees have been changed, confirming that it is not true.

In a tweet, ROP stated: "There is no truth to what is circulating on social media about the news that the traffic violation form has been changed and the fine fees have been changed."
