Muscal Municipality raids fruits and vegetable store

Muscat: Muscal Municipality destroyed more than 300 cartons of vegetables and fruits meant for sale in the streets for a low amount. 

The municipality said in a statement: “Muscat Municipality in Seeb raided a residential building for expatriate workers. It is taken as a place to store vegetables and fruits in unsanitary conditions, in addition to their methods of cheating the consumer. They placed bad items at the bottom of the boxes and kept the good ones at the top, in preparation for selling them on the streets for low sums.
