Muscat: National Bank of Oman (NBO) celebrated Omani Women's Day earlier this week by opening its doors to women for a special event at the bank's new head office, and also rewarding its female cardholders by inviting them to a celebration at the Royal Opera House, Muscat.

The event was the latest edition of [email protected], an initiative that aims to inspire women to achieve personal and professional fulfillment, and included a panel discussion with guests Dr. Muna Mahfoudh, the first Radio and TV presenter in Oman, and Ahlam Al Maqbali, an entrepreneur who built a successful platform to help women grow their businesses. Both women shared their journeys, speaking about the challenges they have overcome, and the lessons they have learnt that have contributed to their success.

NBO rewarded some of its female cardholders by inviting them to the Royal Opera House, Muscat, to witness performances from the Royal Oman Symphony Orchestra (ROSO) Ladies Chamber Ensemble and eight outstanding musicians from the Oman Oud Hobbyists Association, four of which were women. Singer Balqees also gave a guest performance.
