Thunderstorms likely in parts of Oman

Muscat: Thunderstorms which will lead to a decrease in the level of horizontal visibility and the flow of valleys are predicted over some parts of the Sultanate of Oman on Thursday.

Oman Meteorology said in a statement: "Chances of the formation of cumulus clouds and thunderstorms accompanied by active downward winds sometimes and a decrease in the level of horizontal visibility and the flow of valleys continue on the Al Hajar Mountains and the adjoining areas and on the desert areas of the Al Wusta and Dhofar Governorates. "
