ROP foils attempt to smuggle drugs into Oman

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP), has thwarted an attempt to smuggle hashish and crystal drugs into the Sultanate of Oman.

A statement issued online by ROP said: "The Directorate General for Combating Drugs and Psychotropic Substance , in cooperation with the Coast Guard Police, managed to seize crystal and hashish while three people of Asian nationality attempted to smuggle them to the Sultanate of Oman. Legal procedures are being completed against them."
