Two expats dead as soil caves in

Muscat: As a result of a soil collapse, two people died and another person was moderately injured, and he was taken to hospital by the company working on the site. The accident took place in the Wilayat of Bidbid, Al Dakhiliyah Governorate.

"Rescue teams at the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department in the Governorate of Al Dakhiliyah responded to a soil collapse accident on workers in the Wilayat of Bidbid , where three people were pulled out," Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) said in a statement.
