Muscat: The Ministry of Health (MOH) has shut down three private health institutions permanently in the Sultanate of Oman.
"The Ministry of Health permanently closes three private health institutions, suspends 18 other private health institutions temporarily, withdraws clinical privileges from some medical personnel, and suspends two private specialised health institutions," Oman News Agency (ONA) said in a statement.
The ministry issued warnings to 66 private health institutions for not adhering to the quality standards required in health services and obliging them to improve their conditions and remove all observations as stipulated in the regulatory procedures.
