One arrested for deliberately crossing a wadi in Oman

Muscat: A person has been arrested and his vehicle was seized for deliberately crossing a wadi in the Wilayat of Rustaq in South Al Batinah Governorate.

A statement issued online by Royal Oman Police (ROP) said: "The South Al Batinah Governorate Police Command stopped a citizen for deliberately crossing a valley in the wadi Bani Ghafer area in the Wilayat of Rustaq. His vehicle was stuck in the middle of the wadi and he was rescued by the citizens. The legal procedures are being completed against him."
