His Majesty directs the establishment of Special Olympics International Shooting Clubs

Muscat: In order to preserve the cultural heritage of the Sultanate of Oman, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has directed the establishment of Special Olympics International Shooting Clubs.

"With the sublime blessing of His Majesty the Sultan, the Supreme Commander, a decision has been taken for the establishment of the International Special Olympics Shooting Clubs as one of the sports, social and educational facilities supervised by the Oman Shooting Federation with the aim of preserving the cultural heritage and encouraging national competencies to practice this sport," the Oman News Agency announced.
