The focus on children with disabilities and orphans in the Sultanate is driven by government initiatives, represented by the Ministry of Social Development, ensuring that those with disabilities obtain all rights, be on equal footing with all other citizens of the Sultanate, including their rights to be rehabilitated in differed rehabilitation institutions, so that they can be integrated into the society to play their role in its prosperity side by side with their fellow Omanis.
