New Executive Housekeeper Joins Kempinski Hotel Muscat

Kempinski Hotel Muscat is proud to welcome and announce the appointment of Claudia Arnhardt as the new executive housekeeper of the property. In her new role, she will be spearheading the Housekeeping team ensuring the five-star standards of European luxury that Kempinski Hotels are known for around the world are upheld.
 
Claudia joins the Kempinski Hotel Muscat team from Hotel Bareiss (recognized by the prestigious Falstaff Hotel Guide 2022 as one of the ten best hotels in Germany, awarded three-Michelin stars for restaurant Bareiss and the second in the gourmet category as per Connoisseur Circle), where she held the position of Executive Housekeeper from 2020 until the present. She has extensive knowledge in the department of Housekeeping and has accumulated over 20 years of experience working in some of the biggest hotel chains around the world.

Kempinski Hotel Muscat’s general manager, Mr Carsten Wiegandt, said, “We are delighted to announce Claudia’s appointment and the latest addition to our Executive team at the hotel. I am certain she will share her wealth of experience and know-how with the team, having led the department of Housekeeping for over 20 years at leading international hotels. She is not new to the region and fully understands the Omani culture and will continue the promise to showcase Kempinski’s beautiful performances in her area.”

During her years of experience, Claudia has overseen the rooms, public and pool areas, back of house and external F&B venues at some of the most prominent hotels, such as Hilton, Sheraton, Movenpick and Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten am Schluchsee in Germany, Norway, the UAE, Switzerland, China, Jordan, Sudan and Lebanon. She is very well versed in the local culture having been part of the team for the reopening of the Sheraton Oman Hotel in 2016 as Director of Housekeeping.

Claudia is a German national and has received significant awards and accolades, such as the Development Programme for Executive Housekeepers, Performance Management and many more.
