Muscat: Following the three-day visit of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to Germany, the Ambassador of Germany in Oman, H.E. Thomas Schneider made a friendly visit to Aster Royal Hospital that will soft open soon.
During the visit, the Hospital’s Group CEO, Dr. Ashendu Pandey made an introduction of the services provided for the first time in the private sector to serve the Oman community, namely organ transplantation, cath-lab & interventional cardiology, nephrology and neuro-surgery.
His Excellency expressed his appreciation towards this new player in the premium private healthcare field in Oman, considering it a “very good hospital, ready to contribute to the country's overall healthcare capacity - delivering high quality and efficient healthcare in the region”.
He also added that the German Embassy will start a cooperation process that will allow the onboarding of German Doctors in the group, enriching the pool of nationalities in this project.
Aster Royal Hospital is equipped with two underground parking area, 200 inpatient beds, which turns it into the biggest private Hospital in Oman - bringing a total of 150 new doctors and staff members, modern technologies and infrastructure, ready for any major operation or complication with 24-hour emergency service.
Aster Royal Hospital will open four major Excellence Centers: Gastroenterology, Urology, Orthopaedics and Gynecology & Obstetrics, which will have an entire floor with specialized services dedicated to women and children.
