ROP warns of sand dunes on this road

Muscat : The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has urged users of Maqshan - Thumrait road to drive carefully due to the presence of sand dunes and a decrease in the level of horizontal visibility as a result of active winds.

"For users of the public road (Maqshan - Thumrait) active winds blow is causing a decrease in the level of horizontal visibility along with sand accumulations on the road, please be careful," ROP said in a statement.
