Muscat: The Royal Navy of Oman ship 'Shabab Oman II' won the award for the best ship in Harlingen Port in the Kingdom of Netherlands this evening, at the conclusion of the first stage of the 2022 long dhow races.
The 'Shabab Oman II' of the Royal Navy of Oman was crowned with the award for the best ship that received visitors according to the vote of the Danish Esbjerg Festival audience. It also won the ship award at the 2022 AD Long Dhow Racing Festival in the Danish city of Esbjerg, where it travelled the longest distance to participate in the festival.
The second Oman Youth Ship continues to participate in international marine festivals and races, as part of its international voyage this year to the European continent, bearing the slogan (Oman, the Land of Peace).
