Royal Air Force of Oman sends food, medical supplies to storm-hit villages

Muscat: The Royal Air Force of Oman is carrying out a mission to transport medical staff and food supplies by helicopter to villages affected by the tropical situation.

The Ministry of Defence said: “Royal Air Force of Oman carried out, by means of a helicopter, the task of transporting medical staff, medical equipment, and food supplies to the affected mountain villages in each of the areas of Yasob, Waqa and Nafaa in the Wilayat of Rustaq in the South Al Batinah Governorate due to the weather conditions resulting from the monsoon depression.”
