Oman announces jail term, fine for crossing wadis

Muscat: Three-month imprisonment and a fine of OMR 500 will be imposed for deliberately crossing wadis in Oman.

Public Prosecution (PP) said in a statement: "Deliberately crossing wadis in a manner that puts your life or the lives of passengers or other people at risk is an offense punishable by imprisonment for a period up to three months and fines up to OMR 500."
