Polish official commends Oman’s efforts for regional stability, international peace

Muscat: Dr. Yahya bin Mahfoudh Al Mantheri, Chairman of the State Council yesterday received a delegation of the Polish side in the Parliamentary Friendship Committee between the State Council and the Senate of Poland, led by Senator Michal Sewerynski, within the framework of the delegation’s visit to the Sultanate.
Dr. Al Mantheri stressed the importance of mutual visits in enhancing the bilateral relations and sharing expertise in the parliamentary work between the two councils.
The meeting reviewed aspects of the joint cooperation between the two councils, as well as affirming the role of mutual visits in promoting the bilateral relations. Viewpoints were exchanged on several regional and international issues of common concern.
Senator Michal Sewerynski, Head of the Omani-Polish Friendship Committee at the Senate of Poland underlined the comprehensive development renaissance being witnessed by the Sultanate.
He also commended the Sultanate’s endeavours in maintaining stability in the region, as well as contributing in maintaining international security and peace according to a wise foreign policy based on the wise vision of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said.
The meeting was attended by Salim bin Ismail Suwaid, Head of the Omani-Polish Friendship Committee at the State Council, members of the Committee and the Secretary General of the State Council.
The Friendship Committee between the State Council and the Senate of Poland held an official session of talks under the chair of Salim bin Ismail Suwaid, Head of the Omani side at the Committee and Senator Michal Sewerynski.
Suwaid highlighted the Committee’s role in developing the relations between the two countries and pushing them forward towards broader avenues through constant endeavor to promote joint cooperation in various spheres. He hoped that this visit would support the relations between the two countries.
Senator Michal Sewerynski hoped that the talks of the Omani-Polish Friendship Committee would yield outcomes that would add dynamic to the bilateral relations between the two countries, and help in cementing cooperation between the two councils.
The talks reviewed the relations binding the two friendly countries, as well as the means that guarantee supporting aspects of cooperation between them in various fields.
The Polish delegation arrived here last night on an official several-day visit to the Sultanate.
