This wilayat recorded the highest rainfall in Oman

Muscat: The Wilayat of Rustaq in South Al Batinah Governorate has recorded the highest amount of rainfall in the Sultanate of Oman during the period from July 5 till July 7, 2022 which was 95 mm.

According to the data published by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources, the amount of rainfall recorded in a number of the Sultanate of Oman's wilayats during the period from 5 to 7 July were as follows : the Wilayat of Al Hamra in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate and Dama Wa Attayeen in the North Al Sharqiyah Governorate recorded an amount of 90 mm for each.

The Wilayat of Al Kamel and Al Wafi in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate has recorded 72 mm of rainfall, 55 mm in the Wilayat of Sur which is located in the same governorate , 52 mm in the Wilayat of Qurayyat in Muscat Governorate. While the Wilayat of Nizwa in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate has recorded 44 mm and 40 mm in Jalan Bani Bu Hassan, South Al Sharqiyah Governorate.

The amount of rainfall that was recorded in the Wilayat of Bahla in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate was 39 mm, 36 mm in the Wilayat of Al Awabi in South Al Batinah Governorate and 35 mm in the Wilayat of Al Buraimi.
