People urged to donate blood in Oman

Muscat: The Department of Blood Banks Services (DBBS) has made an urgent appeal to people with O-, A- and B- blood types to donate blood today at the Central Blood Bank in Baushar.

DBBS said in a statement: "Due to the sharp drop in the levels of negative blood types (O-, A-, B-), we urge blood donors to hurry to donate blood today at the Central Blood Bank in Baushar."
