Oman Air flight from Muscat to Bangkok diverted to Hyderabad

Muscat: An Oman Air flight to Bangkok, Thailand — WY811— was diverted to Hyderabad in India because of a sick passenger, the Sultanate's national carrier tweeted.

"The captain made a decision to divert after it became apparent that the guest required urgent medical attention. The plane landed safely in Hyderabad at 3:17 UTC," Oman Air said.

The flight, with remaining passengers has departed for Bangkok where it is now scheduled to arrive at 16:05 UTC.
