Thunderstorms forecast across Oman

Muscat: Oman Meteorology has issued an alert about the possibility of scattered rain associated with thunderstorms over the Al Hajar Mountains and the surrounding areas.

In an alert issued today, the Directorate General of Meteorology said: "Opportunities of convective clouds, scattered rains and thunderstorms at times, accompanied by active downward winds over Al Hajar Mountains and neighboring areas during the afternoon."
