Muscat: The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior has announced the suspension of issuing family and tourist visit visas until further notice to prepare a new regulatory mechanism.
A statement issued online by the Kuwait News Agency, KUNA, said:”The Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior announced the suspension of the issuance of entry visas to the country, family and tourist visit visas, as of Monday, June 27, 2022, until further notice.”
The Ministry of Interior said in a statement issued by the General Administration of Relations and Security Media that the decision issued based on the directives of the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, retired Lieutenant-General Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al Ahmad Al-Sabah.
“This comes in light of preparing a new mechanism with regulations targeting the interest and development of work,” the statement added
